Cities we serve in Dallas County

Each area page sticks to what is true there: the housing, the roads, the water and the pests that show up most. North Oak Cliff pages like Winnetka Heights deal with century-old frame houses on piers, while Cedar Hill sits up on the escarpment among cedar brakes, limestone rock and scorpions.

To the southeast, Lancaster, Hutchins and Wilmer mix older town centers with the big distribution warehouses of the inland port. West along Mountain Creek and Joe Pool Lake, mosquitoes and ticks hang on longer into fall. Not listed? The ZIP checker gives a quick answer.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you cover the Ellis County side of Glenn Heights and Red Oak?

Yes. Glenn Heights straddles the Dallas–Ellis county line, and Red Oak, Ovilla and Midlothian sit in northern Ellis County, all inside the service radius. Ovilla, Red Oak and Glenn Heights share ZIP 75154, so give the street and nearest cross street when you call.

Is Arlington really in range?

It sits at the outer edge. Eastern Arlington is closest, roughly 13 miles from Redbird, while the western side runs farther out. Call with the address and you'll get a straight answer on whether a visit fits and how soon it can happen.

Where does the service area stop?

About 15 miles out from Redbird. That reaches Irving to the north, Grand Prairie and Arlington to the west, Midlothian and Red Oak to the south, and Hutchins and Wilmer to the southeast. The line falls short of Mansfield to the southwest and Waxahachie farther down I-35E.

Why are pests different in Kessler than in DeSoto?

Age, trees and terrain. Kessler's 1920s to early-1940s houses sit on wooded bluffs over the Trinity, many with crawlspaces, big oaks for roof rats and leaf litter for scorpions. DeSoto is mostly newer slab subdivisions, where slab cracks, fire ants in open lawns and mosquitoes from drainage channels lead the calls.
